海上保安庁の一等海上保安監以上の階級用制帽です。帽章は浮き輪と
カモメ、浮き輪の中心にコンパスが置かれており、周りに梅の葉と花が刺繍
されています。帽子の鍔には、同様に梅の葉と花が刺繍され、ニ等、三等
海上保安監用よりも鍔の葉の枚数が多くなっています。

The cap for Japan Coast Guard Officer upper Superintendent 1st-Grade.
The cap emblem has a sea gull on the life buoy and compass in the center.
Some plum leafs and blossoms are given around them. On the visor, some
plum leafs and blossoms are given. The Number of leaf is more then the cap
for Superintendent 2nd, 3rd-Grade.
